It is the worst game I have ever played. This game is very slow, repetitive, and it is difficult to follow some of the quests.
They were very ambitious with this game. Fallout 3 also gives you so much more choices that actually effect you being Good, Neutral, or Evil. I can't believe the difference in styles and what's available to do verses Bethesda's older games. I know oblivion kind of did that, but. Sure, if your reading this you probably played Oblivion at least once.
I can't wait.This game has 100+ hours of gameplay to offer. What Bethesda is holding for our future. it wouldn't remember "everything". I don't know what I'd do for that ability, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this. This game has to remember sooo many things, I can't believe it actually lets you "save" where bodies lay, items left. These kind of games need the online multi-player. Those ragdoll physics got to be going haywire now that they are incorporating limbs being torn/ shot/ blown off. It's unfortunate that you can't get over level 20, but I think they are working on an add-on that will enable you to pick up from where you left off and go to level 30, more places/ people/ guns/ enemies/ and quests.
If your big on sword slashing, that's not the highlight here, it's gunz a blazin', baby. So many items, weapons, quests and possibilities. You owe it to yourself to give it a shot :). No wonder there's a couple of glitches (Example: enemies falling when they should be still). etc.
The game is full of bugs and the player models skate across the game terrain and it looks ridiculous. One thing I will say is that they did a great job of sticking to the theme, the game def. Ok first let me say that Fallout one and two are EPIC titles to me and I have fond memories of playing them when i was younger. Free-aiming is clumsy and choppy, which makes your character builds over-reliant on AP. reminds me of fallout and it is cool to see a 3d vision of that world.I will close by saying this game is worth trying, (for free), and this franchise could have fallen into MUCH better hands. If you are expecting that kind of experience then you will be disappointed as this is a whole new game and NOT fallout. This is a fallout themed oblivion-style RPG.
this is the best game ever made. i plan to try it again tomorrow and see what happens, but my hopes are not very high. but just as soon as the giant mutant guy i rescued from the experimental room goes to hand me the G.E.C.K (you need it for the main storyline) he starts to hand it off and boom. but the freezing up thing is just a complete shame and somebody needs to do something about this, and fast. game over. Alright, I decided to try fallout 3.
20 hours in and not a single glitch in sight. i'm almost tempted to go straight to the bethesda headquarters, because they are only like 20 miles from where i live, if it comes to that. i read the many reviews about the bugs and glitches, but overall said i gotta give it a try. i was so utterly frustrated i got on here to write this review because i finally saw what everyone had warned me about. can i get a patch please. the most amazing, beautiful, intense, engrossing game I have ever played, hands down.
screen freezes.
There were some really scary moments, like when bad guys jump from behind and start shooting you.I will say this is currently best RPG on PS3 in the market. I only have 720p TV but graphics still looked amazing. It was a great game. Once I start playing it, it was hard to put controller down.
